The transportation ministry provides transportation to members and visitors through request by phone. Transportation is provided for any of our weekly services and participation in activities (on a case by case basis).

The security officers of Open Door provides surveillance in the parking lot and front entrance to ensure the safety of all members and visitors of The Open Door. 

CWC

CWC

The Christian Women’s Council is comprised of women ages 50-up. The CWC provides age-appropriate topical discussion and deals with life issues from a spiritual standpoint. 

YWCC

YWCC

 The Young Women’s Christian Council is comprised of women ages 18-49 in Open Door. The YWCC meets bi-monthly for topical discussion, fellowship, and to support each other as young women and mothers. The YWCC also provides support to our First Lady by sponsoring her annual appreciation in May.

Performing Arts

The performing arts department is comprised of different forms of dance, music, and acting. The performing arts department services are offered seasonally and hosts productions annually. 

Sunday School

Sunday School

 The Sunday school department offers Biblical education each Sunday morning. Classes are offered to all members and lessons are separated by age. The Sunday school department seeks to engage all members to study and grown in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

FITT Ministry

FITT Ministry

The FITT (Fitnessl in The Temple) ministry provides support for members in health, wellness, and fitness. This ministry offers healthy dieting and meal tips, in-person and virtual group workout sessions, and support for living a healthy lifestyle. Services are offered seasonally. 

Loving Care

Loving Care

Loving Care is a committee that provides support to members of Open Door during times of bereavement. The committee acknowledges the loss of a loved one by sending cards, condolences, and oftentimes a special dish to warm the heart. 

Vacation Bible School
Project

Vacation Bible School

 Vacation Bible School is offered annually in August for children ages 5-18. Classes such as arts and crafts, music, and age specific Bible lessons are offered for approximately 5 days. Activities and lunch are provided daily from 9-12 and registration is free for members and non-members.
